Longest 12 hours of my life

No phone, internet, laptop, T.V., video game, etc. for 12 hours!  At the very least this was not an easy task.  No phone and T.V. were by far the most difficult.  I simply just didn't know what to do with myself.  The first couple of hours I tried to stay busy.  I went to the gym, which was difficult without my phone to play any music.  I convinced my friend to throw a football with me for a little bit.  This kept me busy for about 2 hours and that is when i started to realize that this was going to be a lot harder then it seemed.  Then I did something I thought I would never do to keep myself busy, I read!  Don't get my wrong I didn't enjoy it but it kept me busy for the most part.  I would pretty much take my time with everything which was kinda nice.  Overall this experience wasn't great, although it did make me appreciate all the technology I have in my life.  It made me think what people did back before we had all this technology and what the did to keep themselves busy.  I have to say, I'm really glad I grew up in this generation.
